Rhett Buttle is an entrepreneur, advocate, and one of the most trusted leaders at the intersection of business and policy. He has held senior roles shaping policy and engagement for the White House Business Council, a governor’s office, and multiple presidential campaigns.


He is the founder of Public Private Strategies (PPS), which brings together the public and private sectors to build coalitions and create strategic partnerships that drive policy and market outcomes.


Rhett helped launch the Next Gen Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Innovation Summit, and Small Business for America’s Future. He also leads the Small Business Roundtable, the largest coalition of small business leaders, and launched Entrepreneurship Exchange which brings business leaders from across the globe together to promote commerce and diplomacy. 


In addition, he serves as a Senior Fellow at The Aspen Institute where he helps lead the economic programming for The Aspen Ideas Festival and is part of the founding team for its economic forum
